Review high-frequency infection control terms and the differences between cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, and sterilizing. Walk through proper implement handling, EPA-registered disinfectant use, exposure incident steps, hand hygiene, PPE, ventilation, SDS, chemical labeling, and client consultation safety. Practice scenario-based board questions focused on selecting the safest next step. End with a short timed checkpoint quiz and group review of missed rationales.
Review infection control terminology before class. Bring study materials and be ready to explain disinfection steps, blood spill procedures, and chemical safety rules in sequence.
