Review the required setup sequence from entry to ready-to-begin status. Instructor demonstrates table disinfection, clean supply layout, labeled containers, hand hygiene, PPE placement, trash control, and separation of clean, used, and contaminated items. Students complete repeated timed setup drills, receive checkpoint feedback, correct layout issues, and practice verbalizing sanitation steps using state board language. Close with a timed setup assessment and debrief on common point-loss errors.
Requirements
Date/time: 2026-09-23, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Bring full kit, disinfectant supplies as approved, labels, clean towels, disposable bags, hand sanitizer/soap access plan, and state board setup checklist. Focus on clean/dirty separation and timing. Assessment opportunity: timed setup rubric, sanitation sequence check, and instructor feedback on labeling and supply control.
