Timed sculptured nail mock practical focused on form fit, product placement, and final structure. Start with station setup, sanitation script, material layout, and review of board timing expectations. Instructor models form placement under the free edge, sidewall alignment, bead/product control, building a balanced nail, curing or setting procedures as applicable, safe filing, surface refinement, and cleanup. Students complete a step-by-step guided drill, then a timed independent mock section. End with scoring review, instructor corrections, and individual improvement targets before dismissal.
Requirements
Date/time: 2026-10-21, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Due offset: 35 days. Bring required kit, sculpting forms, approved sculpting or simulation product, brush/applicator, dappen dish or approved container if used, files, buffers, PPE, towels, disinfectant, and practice hand. Maintain safe product handling, avoid skin contact, keep lids closed when not in use, and follow lab ventilation rules. Assessment opportunity: form placement, product ratio/control, nail structure, filing sequence, sanitation, timing, and station cleanup checklist.
