Mock practical drill for nail wrap or repair procedure. Begin with sanitation setup, client protection language, adhesive safety review, and material organization. Instructor demonstrates identifying the repair area, preparing the nail plate, cutting and placing wrap material, controlled adhesive/resin application, activator safety if used, layering as required, curing or drying time, finish filing, buffing, and final inspection. Students perform one guided repair and one timed mock-board repair while instructor checks product amount, smoothness, and safe handling. Conclude with deduction review and cleanup verification.
Requirements
Date/time: 2026-10-28, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Due offset: 42 days. Bring required kit, wrap material or approved repair material, adhesive/resin, applicators, scissors, files, buffers, PPE, towels, disinfectant supplies, waste bags, and practice hand or prepared nail tips. Use minimal product, avoid flooding skin, control fumes, and keep materials organized and capped. Assessment opportunity: repair preparation, wrap placement, adhesive control, finish filing, sanitation, safety language, timing, and final appearance.
