State board pedicure review and mock practical sequence. Open with pedicure station setup, PPE, basin/tub sanitation requirements, client consultation wording, and contraindication screening. Instructor walks through foot assessment language, towel placement, soaking simulation, nail shaping, cuticle-area care within scope, callus-safety discussion, massage sequence overview, polish setup if required, and post-service disinfection. Students rehearse the full verbal and hands-on sequence in timed segments, then complete a condensed mock pedicure station cleanup. End with instructor scoring notes and student readiness self-check.
Requirements
Date/time: 2026-11-04, 6:00 PM-10:00 PM. Due offset: 49 days. Bring required kit, pedicure implements allowed by program policy, towels, gloves, foot file if permitted, polish supplies if assigned, disinfectant, basin liners or approved sanitation materials, and station checklist. Do not work on contraindicated conditions; use correct referral language and follow tub/basin sanitation exactly. Assessment opportunity: consultation, contraindication recognition, service order, client safety, sanitation cleanup, timing, and professional communication.
