Welcome and attendance check; review evening lab expectations, participation standards, grading touchpoints, and hybrid schedule. Demonstrate safe home practice setup, basic sanitation language, PPE use, chemical safety, and manicure kit contents. Instructor-led walkthrough of required Level 1 General Manicurist Kit and how tools will be used in later labs. Close with student questions and a brief readiness check.
Requirements
Attend live online session from a distraction-free workspace. Have syllabus, note-taking materials, and required kit available if already received. Complete orientation acknowledgement and submit kit inventory checklist by the end of the meeting window. Assessment opportunity: participation, safety Q&A, and kit readiness check.
