Product overview
WooCommerce works well for self-serve checkout, but it becomes inefficient when a sales or support rep has to place orders on behalf of customers. Customer lookup sits in one place, cart construction in another, shipping decisions in a separate flow, and payments or refunds inside gateway-specific tooling. That fragmentation slows down service teams, increases order-entry mistakes, and makes internal attribution harder once the order is placed.
Athenian CSR Order Portal Interface solves that by giving CSRs a purpose-built operational layer on top of WooCommerce. It combines customer switching, assisted cart building, pricing-aware order composition, internal payment capture, split tender handling, credit and loyalty application, and refund-aware transaction tracking into one portal so reps can complete high-touch orders with less friction and better auditability.

Ecosystem integration story
WooCommerce
This plug-in is built as an operational layer on top of WooCommerce, not a replacement for it. It works with WooCommerce carts, orders, taxes, shipping packages, customer accounts, sessions, and payment gateway conventions while presenting a CSR-focused workflow above those native systems.
User Switching
The plug-in relies on customer-context switching so a rep can act as the customer during assisted ordering while still preserving the CSR as the originating actor for attribution and auditing.
Braintree
The payment flow is designed around Braintree-backed processing and an internal CSR gateway abstraction. This allows captured transactions, split tenders, and refunds to map back to the right order and transaction leg more cleanly inside WooCommerce admin workflows.
Store credit and loyalty tooling
The plug-in can work with native or compatible store credit and points systems, including credit balance retrieval, point conversion, credit application, and credit restoration during refunds. That makes it useful in support-heavy environments where loyalty balances are part of the service workflow.
Configurable-product extensions
The cart workflow is designed to preserve richer product request payloads, including add-on and configuration data that may be posted through product forms. This makes the portal more viable for configurable products than a basic manual order-entry form.
AI-assisted product and content discovery
The built-in AI search layer enriches the CSR workflow by helping reps identify relevant products and reference content based on plain-language queries and prior customer behavior. In the broader Athenian stack, this gives the support team a faster knowledge-to-order path.
